CSBG Board: MCHA has an opening for a volunteer to serve on its Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Board. Meetings are held quarterly at 1:30 PM in the conference room at MCHA. Interested applicants must be a representative of the private sector of the community. Members of the CSBG board are selected in such a manner as to assure that they speak and act on behalf of the group or organization that they represent. The overall criteria for selection shall be availability, willingness to serve, experience in the mobilization of resources and institutional change so that the causes and conditions of poverty can be alleviated. Voting for this opening will take place at the next CSBG Board Meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. If interested, please call Sue Rose at (815) 338-7752.
